Since I moved to the East Coast, I’ve stumbled upon a good amount of single attractive men in the city and, not being single myself, I feel compelled to share them with the rest of the women living in the Philadelphia area (lucky you!).  So ladies, here you have it, Brad, my first SMS:

Ideal Date:  Start the night off with some type of public event, whether it be a comedy show, local band’s concert, or a sporting event.  Then finish the night off with a good dinner that’s got a lively atmosphere to it… I’m always down for spontaneity, so I try to leave a little free time between the two planned events just in case we happen to find something that looks like fun!

Favorite thing about Philly:  The wide variety of culture and options that you have to choose from.  The people here don’t seemed to be rushed like other big cities, it’s got a relaxing feel to it.

Of course I had to ask these two lovely lads why they love DC. Niall believes that that everything you could want is all within walking distance here in DC. He says there is a great social scene (::nod::) and wonders how people could avoid falling in love with a city with so much history to it (good question, Niall!). Keith summed it up with a simple “I Love Obama!” cheer!

Hopefully both Niall and Keith will stop in to DC again soon!

Hobbies: The ever-so manly hobby of working on old cars. (I’m not hating on this at all – I’m glad I’m not hearing the usual “work out, watch sports, and drink Bud Light” routine.)
Ideal Date: This one was badass. Tim briefly lived in Mexico after he graduated college, so he described his ideal date as getting on a plane and taking a girl to Mexico to hang out, drink Tecate beer (my new favorite over Corona) and enjoy the sights.

Favorite Thing About DC: Unlike so many other major cities on the East Coast, DC changes and grows so fast. It’s cool to see. I’ve been in DC since I graduated from Tufts in 2004 and so much has changed. I like that DC is clean but has some grit, too. [Side note: DC-Native Gal About Town LOVES this answer!]

Ideal Quality in a Woman: She needs to be laid back in nature, someone who appreciates the simplicity of relationships.

Fun Fact: Tony studied economics, finance and entrepreneurialism at Tufts. It’s no wonder he has been the proud owner and general manager of 1905 since June 2009.

Favorite Dish on 1905’s Menu: Executive Chef Matt Richardson’s filet is phenomenal. His most creative and most complete dish is the crabcake (see the menu here). It’s a perfect combination of warm and cool – flavors AND temperatures.
