Well we have Generation Y to thank for this. Haul Vloggers. Honestly, it sounds like some kind of crazy sci-fi creature plodding through the sand in a Star Wars movie. Seriously.
But no, haul vloggers are basically young women who shop and then show off their purchases on YouTube. As random as it sounds, these women are taking a really common behavior —women showing off their shopping spoils to their friends— and going viral with it.
What I love about it is the chance to see clothing and beauty items in a real life setting. Not with the glitz of packaging or advertising but on real people. And it’s especially useful to someone who doesn’t have a car and has been known to indulge in late night online shopping binges…
