Conversations Overheard in a Bar (Philly)

Scene: Packed sports bar with Phillies v. Red Sox game on the screen.
Women cheer when Phillies score a run. Men approach.
“So are you two Phillies fans?”
“Is that a serious question? Are we not IN Philadelphia?”
“Good point. Well, we’re in from Boston for a wedding. Red Sox fans.”
“And you’re TELLING people this? Have you not seen the news? Do you not know what we’re capable of? Our fans are so rowdy we throw balls back into the park if the opposing team hits a home run.”
“Well a lot of teams do that”
“Yes, but we actually AIM for the players. Just last week a fan got so overexcited that he had to be TAZERED on the field. It was on CNN. We do not kid around in Philadelphia. You need to go home or keep quiet. I’m warning you. You are not safe here.”
“Wow”
“Yeah, well there is one thing you have going for you. And if you get into a scuffle, you’ll need to mention it.”
“What’s that?’
“You’re not a Yankees fan.”
